o   $100 for carpools with three members

o   $50 for carpools with four members

·         Each Carpool Member receives 2 free daily scratch off permits per month

·         Can take advantage of reserved parking spaces for carpools (spaces reserved until 2:00 pm)

·         Will be registered for a chance to win monthly and annual prizes.

Forming your carpool

If you don’t already have carpool partners in mind, you can utilize the Bearly Drivers Ride-Matching Service (a service provided by GreenRide) to find potential carpool partners to share your commute. After you register and provide your specific commute info, you will receive contact information for other Washington University commuters with similar commutes. Applying for a carpool Permit

Download and complete the Bearly Drivers Carpool Permit Application here. Each carpool member must meet the eligibility requirements on the application and each member must complete and sign the application.

Your carpool must pick a “Primary Driver” who will be responsible for the permit. This individual must bring the application to our office at North Campus and also must fill out the Parking and Transportation Vehicle Registration Form.

If Your Carpool Changes

If your carpool disbands, your permit is no longer valid and must be returned immediately. If your carpool situation changes, please contact Parking and Transportation Services. If you have further questions about carpooling, email us at parktrans@wustl.edu.

Please note: Fraudulent enrollment in a Bearly Drivers Carpool is a violation of Washington University’s program. The employee(s) will immediately forfeit parking privileges and are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

In Case of an Emergency

Guaranteed Ride Home Program: This program provides reimbursement for a taxi ride home if you or an immediate family member becomes sick or you have unexpected, unscheduled overtime with no advance warning. All registered Bearly Drivers Carpool Program members will automatically be registered for this program.
