Danforth Underground Garage
Parking is available in the Danforth underground garage, located beneath the Danforth University Center, for both visitors and permit holders.
Danforth Underground Garage Hours
Monday through Friday: 6-1 a.m.
Saturday through Sunday: 8-1 a.m.
No overnight parking is permitted in the Danforth garage.
Visitors may park in the Danforth underground garage for the cost of $1 per hour, with a maximum charge of $8 per day. Visitors must pull a ticket upon entry to the garage and present the ticket to the cashier or at the pay station upon exiting the garage. Payment by cash or credit card is accepted. A $25 charge will be assessed to individuals who lose their entry tickets.
Daily permits are not valid in the Danforth underground garage.
University Department Validation Tickets

Once you purchase an appropriate parking permit, your WUSTL ID should be activated within 48 hours to allow you access to the Danforth garage according to your permit’s restrictions. If you have a faculty/staff yellow or red parking permit, your employee ID card should allow you to access the garage at any time. If you have a blue, brown or green parking permit, your ID card should allow you access to the garage after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and anytime Saturdays and Sundays. Faculty/staff red evening permit holders are allowed card access beginning at 3:30 p.m. on weekdays and anytime on Saturdays and Sundays. Evening yellow student permits grant you ID card access to the garage after 3:30p.m. on weekdays and anytime Saturdays and Sundays. If you are having problems with your ID card during times you should have permit access to the garage, please speak to the garage attendant or contact Parking & Transportation Services.
