The Parking and Transportation Services team is moving a majority of ParkSmart permit holders will shift from parking spaces on West Campus to the South 40 on the Danforth Campus. The parking options for West Campus employees who use the shuttle to travel to the Danforth Campus will now include:
1. Use of an official business permit, in addition to your current parking permit;
2. A departmental validation to park in the DUC, Millbrook or East End garages;
3. Use of Passport Parking spaces on the South 40 (register and pay via the Passport Parking app and pay the same rates as visitor parking); and
4. Ride the MetroLink, which provides free fare with a Metro Transit U-Pass.
The WashU campus shuttle system has resumed operations. All shuttles in service feature reduced capacity, a mask requirement for drivers and passengers and deep and frequent cleanings. For the latest news, visit P&T COVID-19 webpage.
WashU ID’s are required upon boarding (except the Campus Circulator). Please have your ID ready to present to the shuttle driver. Thank you for your cooperation.
During the academic year,the West Campus shuttle is in service Monday through Friday from West Campus to the Danforth Campus every 5-10 minutes, with service beginning at West Campus at 7 a.m., ending at 11 p.m. This shuttle is not in service on Saturdays and Sundays. It is free to park in yellow spaces on Danforth without a permit on the weekend.
The shuttle is equipped with GPS technology and is wheelchair accessible. The service is free, but passengers must show a valid university ID to board.
