Please be aware of important summer alerts and closures. These include:
Effective Immediately – East End bus stop is temporarily at the corner of Skinker and Forsyth
Due to construction on Steinberg Hall’s circle drive, WC buses are now stopping at the corner of Skinker and Forsyth so passengers can cross at the traffic light. Other options are being reviewed.
Effective Immediately – No parking on Hoyt Drive
Parking is prohibited along the north and south entries to Hoyt Drive. These areas are for drop off and pick up only. Cars left unattended are compromising the designated fire lanes and blocking traffic. Those in violation will be towed.
Effective now – East End of the Danforth Campus closed to parking
Parking is no longer be available on the east end of the Danforth Campus but spaces are available in the core of campus, on the South 40, and at West Campus. The new zone parking will officially is in effect July 1.
Effective now: The West Campus Shuttle is following a temporary route from the Mallinckrodt bus plaza during construction on the Steinberg Circle, specifically:
- Left turn from Tolman Way on to Forsyth
- East end bus stop is now across the street at the Metro stop at Hillel
- Forsyth to Skinker
- Right turn on Skinker to Wydown
- Right turn on Wydown to Big Bend
- Right turn on Big Bend to Forsyth
- Left turn on Forsyth to West Campus Shuttle stop
- Resume route
Effective now – Changes to DUC Garage
The first level of the DUC Garage and the ramp leading to the second level will become designated Visitor/Admissions Parking Only. All permitted parking will be prohibited in that area. Permitted parking will be available on the second and third levels of the DUC Garage as designated. In addition, until the new pull and pay garage equipment is installed and implemented campus-wide, the garage gates will be placed in the up position. For now, visitors will need to purchase a daily permit at the Campus Bookstore (only until June 30) or at the Parking & Transportation Office at North Campus in order to park in the DUC Garage.
Effective now through August 1, 2017 – Changes to Wallace at Forsyth
Missouri American Water is replacing a water line that runs southbound down Wydown and into Lot 50 (the Alumni House Lot). The project is expected to last four weeks once it has begun. Flaggers are available to help with traffic control. The impact to Lot 50 will be kept as minimal as possible.
Effective now through August 1, 2017 – Changes to Student Health Service spaces along Shepley
The Student Health Service (SHS) spaces along Shepley is unavailable during this timeframe. Students wishing to visit SHS should utilize the SHS spaces located on the first floor of the Shepley Garage.
Effective now through August 1, 2017 – Changes to parallel spaces on Wallace just east of the Wallace Garage
These spaces are unavailable during this timeframe.
Effective now through August 1, 2017 – Changes to the southwest stairs of Snow Way Garage and the space east of the stairwell on all levels
The stairs and space just east of the stairwell on all levels of the garage are unavailable during this timeframe for repair work. It is advisable to use the elevator which is centrally located in the garage.
