Because parking is a limited resource at WashU, please observe all parking regulations on our campus to ensure our existing resources meet the parking needs of our community. Penalties for violations include ticketing and fines, towing and revocation of parking privileges.
Guests are encouraged to park in the Danforth University Center (DUC), Millbrook, Snow Way and West Campus garages. Each of these garages are equipped with gate-arm technology. To gain access, visitors will need to pull a ticket at the entrance and park in a designated visitor space. Charges are incurred by the hour and paid prior to exiting at a pay station or via pay lane attendant.
Passport Parking, an app allowing individuals to pay for parking by the hour at a meter, is also available in various locations across campus.
Weekend and Off-Hour Visitors
From 5 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday, visitors may park in yellow zones without displaying a parking permit (with the exception of the DUC garage). Yellow-zone parking is also permitted on official university holidays, including: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
After 5 p.m., garage parking is free in any yellow zone space or visitor space but visitors will need to pull a ticket to gain access.
Weekend visitors can park in any yellow zone without a parking permit from 5 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday, with the exception of the DUC garage.
For guests visiting a campus resident on the northeast side of campus (The Village or Millbrook Square Apartments), yellow-zone parking is available in the Snow Way Garage. Those visiting near the South 40, yellow-zone parking is available in the parking lot in front of the Alumni House at Forsyth and Wallace.
Monthly permits for visitors may be purchased from the Parking & Transportation office at North Campus.
